New washrooms
Providing improved and essential sanitary facilities for the monastery.

Nearly 150 years of prayer have been lived within these walls. Today, the monastery needs urgent repair and major maintenance so that its life can continue in a safe and dignified setting.
Read the appeal ↓For generations, this monastery has been a quiet home of prayer, contemplation and consecrated life. Nearly 150 years of history have been lived within these walls, with countless prayers offered for the Church, for priests, for families and for those who seek God's help.
Today, the monastery faces an urgent need for major repairs and maintenance. The age of the buildings has brought considerable deterioration. Essential facilities require renewal, old structures need repair, and the monastery needs improvements that will allow the Sisters to continue their vocation in a safe and suitable environment.
These works are more than repairs to a building. They help preserve a place where prayer can continue.
The photographs below show some of the repair and renovation work currently being undertaken within the monastery.

The project includes urgent repairs and improvements required for the continued life of the community.
Providing improved and essential sanitary facilities for the monastery.

Carrying out necessary repairs and maintenance across the older sections of the complex.
Improving the practical spaces required for the Sisters' daily life and community needs.

The monastery is not simply an old building. It is a place shaped by generations of Carmelite life—a place where silence, prayer, work and intercession have continued year after year.
Preserving this home means helping to safeguard the setting in which that hidden vocation continues.
“The walls may need repair, but the prayer within them continues.”
